Equality for Better Community

Equality for Better Community is a Campaign made for LGBTQIA+ and Women awareness in the Filipino community to empower them and stop sex-based discrimination among the community.
Mission and Vision
Equality for a Better Community Campaign aims to create an improved, safe, healthy environment for Women and LGBTQIA+ towards an open, accepting and better Filipino Nation by providing knowledge and awareness to the entire Filipino community and to avoid descrimination. To ensure comfort by empowering Women and LGBTQIA+ and by protecting and promoting equal rights to all genders and sexuality.
Purpose
Everyone is different and unique in their own way, but being a part of the minority often leads to oppression wherein the members of a larger group of people would continuously pick on the minority hence the campaign Equality for a Better Nation is organized, to reduce inequalities within our country and play equal parts in determining and shaping the life of the community in its political, economic, cultural, and social facets, specifically focusing on giving the members of LGBTQIA+ the rights that they deserve. Gender awareness is a very crucial part of this campaign because this aims to increase the knowledge about how gender plays a role in how an individual treats the other. Making people aware of inequality or how their mindset could impact another person’s life is the first step in making change for the reason that if they are not conscious of this, they could just easily brush off the issue, thinking that it is not a very big deal.
Description
The project's objective is to achieve Gender equity for a better society, which will give everyone to have the same opportunity to use their knowledge and talents, deriving in the appropriate eradication of social structural discriminatory treatment against LGBT people through legal means and the institution of a sustainable solution of empowerment of marginalized communities. LGBTQIA+ are convenient scapegoats for embattled leaders who are trying to rally support from more conservative constituencies. Some LGBTQIA+ individuals in the country are still being shunned, harassed, bullied, and threatened by religious people. This will assist LGBTQ people in achieving human dignity and being treated as equals, as well as providing a long-term system that investigates legislative changes and transgressions of LGBTQ rights. It can be a way to promote awareness and understanding to reduce discrimination within our society by using social media platforms. This will help us to be united and make LGBTQ feel more comfortable in their surroundings
